A good rule of thumb for grind size is how long the coffee will be in contact with water.

Cold brew grounds are in contact with water for up to 24 hours, so you want a very coarse grind, as opposed to espresso, which is only in contact for a few seconds, the grind is very fine.

Time of Coffee-to-water Contact: 1-4 minutes Fine, 4-6 minutes Drip, 6-8 minutes Coarse

Single cup pour overs allow the unique characteristics of lighter roasted coffee to be front and center stage.

Darker roasted coffees brew up richer in larger batch brewing methods such as French Press or Chemex.

The ideal water temperature for brewing is 200°F - 205F (93°C - 96.°C).

Room temperature water is recommended for Cold Brew.
